Our Approach to Refunds
Look, we get it. Sometimes things don't work out the way you hoped. Maybe a program isn't the right fit, or circumstances change. We've designed this policy to be fair while protecting the quality of education we provide.
Before enrolling, we encourage everyone to review program details carefully. Our team can answer questions about content, format, and what to expect. This usually prevents situations where someone realizes too late that a program isn't what they needed.
When Refunds Are Possible
We evaluate refund requests based on specific situations. Here's what typically qualifies:
Early Withdrawal
If you withdraw within the first 14 days of a program and haven't accessed more than 15% of course materials, you may qualify for a partial refund. The exact amount depends on what's been accessed.
Technical Issues
When our platform has persistent technical problems that prevent access to materials for more than 72 consecutive hours, and our team can't resolve them quickly, refunds might be considered.
Program Cancellation
If we need to cancel a scheduled program before it starts, you'll receive a full refund or can transfer to another session. This happens rarely but we handle it promptly when it does.
Medical Circumstances
Serious medical situations documented by healthcare providers may qualify for refund consideration. We review these on an individual basis because everyone's situation is unique.
How to Request a Refund
The process is straightforward. We've kept it simple because dealing with administrative hassle is frustrating when you're already dealing with other concerns.
Submit Your Request
Email help@razorintellect.com with your enrollment details, reason for requesting a refund, and any supporting documentation. Be specific about what happened and when. The more context you provide, the faster we can review your situation.
Initial Review
Our team reviews your request within 3-5 business days. We'll check program access logs, payment records, and any relevant platform data. If we need additional information, someone will reach out directly. This step usually moves quickly unless we're dealing with complicated circumstances.
Decision Communication
You'll receive an email explaining whether your refund was approved, partially approved, or denied. If denied, we explain why based on policy terms. If approved, we'll outline the refund amount and expected processing timeline.
Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. The actual time money appears in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution. Credit cards are typically faster than bank transfers.
Common Scenarios Explained
Real situations help clarify how the policy works in practice. These examples come from actual cases we've handled:
Scenario: Changed Mind After Starting
Someone enrolls in a six-month budgeting program, attends the first two sessions, then decides it's not what they expected. They request a refund on day 10.
Outcome: Because they're within the 14-day window but have accessed about 8% of content, they qualify for a 75% refund after a small administrative fee. The remaining amount covers accessed materials and instructor time.
Scenario: Platform Access Problems
A participant can't access video lessons for five days due to a platform bug affecting their region. They report it immediately, and our tech team works on the fix but it takes longer than expected.
Outcome: We extend their program access by two weeks at no charge. If problems persist beyond initial resolution, we'd consider a partial refund for the affected period.
Scenario: Personal Emergency
Three weeks into a program, someone has a family emergency requiring extended travel. They provide documentation and explain they can't complete the coursework.
Outcome: We offer two options: pause enrollment and resume with the next cohort, or receive a prorated refund for unused portions. Most people choose to pause because they want to complete what they started.
Scenario: Dissatisfaction with Content
After completing 60% of a forecasting program, someone requests a refund saying the content didn't meet expectations, despite positive reviews they'd seen.
Outcome: This doesn't qualify for a refund since they're well past the early withdrawal period and have accessed most materials. We do offer feedback sessions to understand concerns and improve future content.
Payment Methods and Processing Times
How quickly you receive a refund depends partly on how you originally paid. Here's what to expect:
Credit Cards
Refunds appear within 5-7 business days after processing. Your bank may take an additional 2-3 days to post the credit to your account.
Bank Transfers
International transfers take 7-10 business days. Domestic Taiwan transfers are typically faster, around 3-5 business days after we initiate the refund.
Digital Wallets
Processing times vary by provider. Most digital wallet refunds complete within 3-5 business days, though some platforms are faster.
Important: We can only refund to the original payment method used for enrollment. If that account is closed or unavailable, you'll need to provide alternative arrangements, which may extend processing time.
Currency exchange rates fluctuate. If your original payment was converted from another currency, the refund amount might differ slightly due to rate changes between payment and refund dates.
Important Things to Know
- Downloaded materials, completed certificates, and accessed resources aren't refundable after use. Once you've downloaded worksheets or tools, that counts as content consumption.
- Group coaching sessions attended can't be refunded even if you withdraw early. These involve instructor time and limited spots that others might have taken.
- Promotional discounts may affect refund amounts. If you enrolled at a reduced rate, refunds are calculated based on the discounted price you actually paid.
- Refund requests must come from the enrolled individual or authorized account holder. We verify identity before processing any refund to prevent fraud.
- Programs starting after September 2025 follow this policy. Any enrollments before January 2025 may be subject to our previous refund terms.
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests that don't meet policy criteria or involve suspected misuse of our platform.
